Five Minutes Peace

We are very aware of the pressures modern life places on parents.  Keeping the plates spinning of children, work, household whilst still retaining some sense of personal identity can be a challenge.  The Ovingham congregation led by the Mothers' Union have a coffee and care outreach in the lane to the north of St Mary's, Ovingham from 8.30am till about 9.20am each Wednesday in term time.  Parents returning from the school run, and any others who are about, are encouraged to stop and take some time stop, breathe, talk to others and have a second cup of coffee before cramming in everything else in the six hours before the next school run.  All are most welcome to stop and take Five Minutes Peace.
