Safeguarding Training

We have lots of people in our church community ministering in a whole host of wonderful ways.  Such ministries are likely to put people in contact with potentially vulnerable people and thus safeguarding training to some level is required.  Safeguarding training to the required level is mandatory.  No ifs, no buts, no excuses.  This page sets out what level of training is required for people actively fulfilling a church ministry.  Course are available through the Diocesan Safeguarding Team both in person and via Zoom.  In addition we occasionally run training events in the parishes led by Robin Brims.
