Warm Hub
The Warm Hub runs from from mid-November to mid-March in St Oswin’s church hall. Every Monday from 10.30am until 3pm people from the village of Wylam and beyond gather to enjoy our Warm Hub.
Volunteers serve tea, coffee, cake and biscuits throughout the day with soup and a roll at lunchtime. It is a great place during the dark cold days of winter to be with friends in a warm safe environment. We enjoy the occasional guest speaker, craft activities, films and on special occasions we have a good old knee’s up. Bring your knitting, enjoy a jigsaw, play a game or simply have a chat.
Whether you have lived here all your life or you’re new to these parts it is a a great place to make friends and get to know what’s going on.
